In Stock 2006 Parker Duofold International Jasper Red 18k Med Nib Fountain Pen Complete Set [khZCANPT]

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Near Mint 2006 Parker International Duofold Fountain Pen in Jasper Red color fitted with an 18K Medium Nib. This fountain pen has seen very little use and I consider this Parker Fountain Pen to be in Near Mint to Mint Condition. I have disassembled the fountain pen to clean and polish it and now is back in fabulous writing condition.

The barrel and cap are gorgeous with beautiful color, gold-plated cap clip, and banding. There are absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs to the pen.

The threads on the cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. The top of the cap has the Parker Duofold medallion which is in perfect condition. This Parker Duofold is an International Size that measures 5 1/8" inches in length capped and 6 1/2" posted. This Parker Duofold has a date code stamped "Y" for 2006 in the 4th Quarter date code on the butt-end side of the barrel. Also, the area is stamped with Parker and Made in U.K.

This Parker International has a fabulous ultra-smooth writing 18K Two-Tone Medium nib. The nib is designated with a "M" which stands for Medium. The actual writing portion (iridium) of the Parker NIB measures roughly .78mm when measured with digital calipers. When writing a sample with this NIB, it writes with a .70mm to a .80mm medium stroke when measuring with digital calipers. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Blue-Black Ink. 

The Parker Jasper Red Duofold comes with the original Parker Duofold Box and Parker Literature - these items are in Near Mint to Mint condition.

The ink converter is a factory Parker and ready for your ink. I have tested the ink converter and operates as it should in my tests with water.
