Original C1997 Pelikan Special Edition M250 Tortoise Brown Striped 14c Fine Nib Fountain Pen Device [rNbTGDRz]

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this SPECIAL EDITION Never Inked Circa 1997 Pelikan M250 (Old Style) Tortoise Brown Striped Fountain Pen in the original box fitted with a 14C Fine Nib. This pen is considered New Old Stock, Never Inked, in the original box with Pelikan literature.

NOTE: In 1997 a special edition release for the Levenger company (official). It had the old-style M600 trim ring at the piston knob with an M200 derby cap (no trim ring on the section). There are no Levenger marks/stampings/reference on this fountain pen. A non-Levenger tortoiseshell brown M250 release also exists.

The barrel and cap are gorgeous with a beautiful barrel in the Tortoise Brown Striped color, polished with a high shine. There are absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs to this fountain pen. The cap of this fountain pen displays the gold-plated clip and 2-ring thick-thin cap band. The cap is stamped with, "PELIKAN GERMANY". The cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. This Pelikan M250 is the "Old Style" two chicks logo and was manufactured in Germany. This Pelikan M250 measures 5 1/16" inches in length capped and 5 3/4" inches posted.

The Piston Filler works with such ease and perfectly in my tests with water.

Comes with the original box and Pelikan Literature, each in Excellent condition. 

The NIB is 14C - 585 solid gold FINE point measures at .55mm when I measured using a digital caliper. The pen has never been inked and wanted to keep it this way for the next owner. 

This is a beautiful Pelikan M250 in Tortoise Brown Striped barrel and black cap is clean as a whistle. It is ready to write with or just add it to your writing arsenal collection. I would grade this pen in Never Inked, Mint condition. Certainly, this is a pen that you can cherish and pass down from generation to generation.
