For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Circa 2003-2010 Pelikan M800 Clear Demonstrator Fountain Pen fitted with an 18K Medium Nib. This pen has been taken apart, cleaned, piston greased, put back together, and back in wonderful writing condition. 

NOTE: The 18K - 750 Two-Tone Nib, One Click logo on top of the cap, and the Germany stamp on the cap banding places this fountain pen in the 2003 to 2010 date range.

The Pelikan Souverän M800 is the Clear Demonstrator Cap and  Barrel complemented by 24k gold plated trim. The large 2-tone nib is made of 18K - 750 gold and designated a "MEDIUM". The fountain pen is equipped with a differential brass piston-filling mechanism that works smoothly. The smooth operating piston mechanism allows you to fill this pen with bottled ink, and the transparent barrel allows you to see your ink level.

There are absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs to this fountain pen. The cap banding is stamped with, "PELIKAN SOUVERAN GERMANY". The cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. The top of the shows the "One Chick" cap logo. This Pelikan M800 measures 5 5/8" inches in length capped and 6 1/2" inches posted.

The NIB is an 18C - 750 Two-Tone with a Medium point. The actual fountain pen tipping measures .74mm when measured using a digital caliper. In the listing writing sample, this Pelikan M800 will write with a smooth line variation between a fine to medium line ranging from .55mm to .70mm when measured with digital calipers. The writing sample provided was done with the actual pen in the images listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Montblanc Blue Ink.

This Pelikan M800 is a large form factor fountain pen in a fabulous demonstrator design - who doesn't like to see their ink slosh around inside a pen!?
