For your consideration, we are offering for sale this gorgeous 1998 Parker Centennial Duofold Fountain Pen in Grey Pearl fitted with an 18K Medium Nib. This Parker Fountain Pen is in Mint Condition. This fountain pen has never been inked, except to perform the writing sample in this listing, and has always been contained in a box from a non-smoking home.

The barrel and cap are gorgeous with beautiful color, perfectly gold-plated cap clip, and banding. There are absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs.

The threads on the cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. This Parker Duofold is a Centennial Size that measures 5 3/8" inches in length capped and 6 7/8" posted.

The Parker Duofold "RIBBON designed" 18K Solid Gold Nib has the Platinum Plated masking completely intact and is marked "M" on the back of the feed for a MEDIUM line/stroke. This Parker Duofold has a date code stamped "IIIE" for 1998 in the 1st Quarter on the butt-end side of the barrel. Also, the area is stamped with Parker and Made in U.K. 

I took the liberty to dip the nib in ink to perform a writing same. This Parker Centennial has a fabulous 18K Two-Tone Ribbon Medium nib. The nib is designated an "M" on the feed which is "Medium". The 2-tone NIB is in fantastic condition and writes ULTRA smoothly! The actual writing portion (iridium) of the Parker NIB measures roughly .63mm when measured with digital calipers. When writing a sample with this NIB, it writes with a .61mm medium line with light pressure and will "flex" up to a 1.10mm broad line medium to firm pressure when measuring with digital calipers. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Blue Ink.
