Ten (10) mini skeins of Aussie Extra Fine Sock with Nylon

Please note that stitch marker included may vary from picture.

The partially completed project shown is my test knit of Ambah O'Brien's Striation Scarf, where 5 minis and one skein of Loganberry Mohair/Silk is used.  The completed wrap is my Venation Shawl designed by Ambah O'Brien.

About the yarn:

Fingering  weight merino (4 ply, 85% extra fine merino, 15% Nylon), a total of 200 grams for the minis ( so you can use the leftovers in socks!)  

Each mini skein:

Fingering weight, 4 ply Superwash 85% Extra Fine Merino, 15% Nylon

Approx. 20 grams/80 meters (87/88 yards) per Mini Skein. 

The full skeins are 100% extra fine merino, 100 grams, 437 yards each.

Recommended needle size 2.5 mm - 4 mm. 

Gauge (stockinette) 28 stitches x 36 rows over 10 cm/4in on 2.35 mm (US 3) needles.  

Australian Merino, Spun in Italy, Hand dyed in Texas in Small Batches.

Hand wash in cold and lay flat to dry for best color retention.  Dyes may run on initial washing. 

IF YOU HAVE BRIGHT INTENSE COLORS, CONSIDER ONLY STEAMING YOUR FINAL PROJECT!!!!  If you must soak, do so for a very short time and make sure never to overlap the project to protect from dye transfer.  After the final rinse, the minis were treated with wool wash and did not bleed, but with different water, it is always possible.
