These fittings feature a two-piece insert that includes a ferrule—a metal or plastic component that tightly compresses the hose onto the fitting, creating a secure, leak-proof seal. The key difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings consist of separate components—the ferrule and the fitting body—allowing for more flexibility in installation and replacement, while one-piece fittings are pre-assembled for quicker installation but offer less flexibility. The A-FO9L fitting has a 90° ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) female swivel connection with a long drop, ideal for high-pressure fluid systems where extra clearance is needed.
