Every piece of art I create starts with a conceptual sketch and this is the original conceptual sketch I drew for my “Ring A-Ding-Ding!” piece. This sketch is one-of-a-kind, drawn on animation paper, and really demonstrates the thought process behind the finished work. While I was working for Walt Disney Feature Animation I drew on animation paper with a red pencil. I fell in love with how the pencil feels on animation paper so it’s still part of my process to this day.
