Material Properties and Processing

Our Mammoth Molar Scales are not yet petrified but contain natural minerals, making them suitable for use with normal tools for bone and horn. Raffir® Mammoth Ivory is the softest among the three, while Mammoth Molar is the hardest due to its enamel layers. We recommend processing with diamond tools or hard steel tools at low speed if diamond tools are not available. After grinding, saturate the surface with cyanoacrylics (Super Glue) for a smoother and stronger result. Important specifications:
