This lime green 14K gold (not plated) ring feaures a large lime green all natural top of the top grade Carico Lake turquoise. The Carico Lake Turquoise on this ring has natural even spiderweb matrix. It is cut from a huge carico nugget that represents top 1% quality from the mine.

Carico Lake turquoise range from beautiful shades of blue to lime green. The lime green color is due to the high levels of faustite and zinc. Although blue turquoise is the majority produced, in recent years lime green has been most valued for its rarity and unique color.

The Carico Lake Turquoise Mine is a historic mine named for its home on a dried up lake bed located in Lander County, Nevada. Due to the short amount of time it's allowed to be mined each year, the supply of Carico Lake Turquoise is extremely limited.

Due to its increased interest and limited supply, Carico Lake turquoise has become a valued investment.

Artist:
Raymond Bennett has been a silversmith since 1994. He was born and raised and currently resides in Gallup, New Mexico. He learned his craftsmanship from his family members, mother, father and uncles.

My Philosophy:
I choose every piece of jewelry based on the value of the stone. Unlike most of the Turquoise on the market, the stone has to be high quality (not stabilized, not color treated and not reconstituted).
