The AquaCera CeraMetix Imperial OBE filter is the most advanced ceramic filter available for pressurized systems. Utilizing the CeraSyl ceramic shell and combining it with the AquaMetix block core provides the highest chemical reductions possible from a single stage filter element.
The CeraSyl pre-filter shell filters all particulates down to 0.5 microns, thus eliminating essentially all suspended sediment, bacteria and cysts, and the ceramic shell is silver impregnated to prevent bacterial growth.
The AquaMetix core is a proprietary matrix comprising of at least two types of activated carbon, combined with proprietary zeolite minerals, structurally bound with polymers into a highly porous block. It eliminates essentially all chlorine, chloramines, fluoride, herbicides & pesticides, pharmaceutical componds, heavy metals, tri-halomethanes and VOC’s.
