Base Options

When it comes to the base of your bed, you have 3 different options to choose from. The options include Timber Slats, a Solid Base or a Gas Lift Ottoman. 

Slats are wooden planks that help keep your mattress sturdy. Light yet durable, slats help prevent your mattress from sagging or shifting. We provide this option free with all our beds. 

A solid base is the recommended option. It is a much stronger and long-lasting choice for the base of your bed which will increase the longevity of your mattress.  

We recommend you choose the Gas Lift Ottoman option if you feel that you can do with a little extra storage in the house. This option gives you ample storage space and can be accessed with no effort from your side by a powerful gas piston.

Gas lift

The bed frame comes with the option for a gas lift ottoman, which provides extra storage space under the bed. We suggest the gas lift ottoman to customers who may not have a large bedroom and need the extra storage space. The extra storage space can replace the need for a set of drawers in your bedroom, allowing your bed frame to be the star of the show. Our gas lift ottoman also comes with a floorboard within the product so any items sit on the floorboard, rather than directly on the floor.

Sizing and customisation

To top it all off, here at Crafted Beds we offer the highest level of customisation to keep your bedroom looking as trendy as possible. We also offer matching blanket boxes for an additional price, adding to the uniform style of the bed frame. Whether you’d like your bed frame in crushed or plush velvet, in regal or muted colours, we’ll be able to find the perfect colour match for you. We’re also aware that sometimes, you need sizes that aren’t standard, which is why we offer a bespoke sizing service for your headboards and bedframes for an additional price. Returns and deliveries

Delivering your bed frame to you has never been so easy. We now offer free nationwide delivery, thanks to the amazing in-house savings we make, we’re able to pass this saving on to our customers. To make the installation of your bed frame even easier, we also offer an assembly service. If you find that you would also like us to take away the packaging, we offer this service as well. Just make sure to select your preferred delivery option at checkout. If you have any additional access requirements to your property, you can always let us know via our Contact Us page on our Crafted Beds website. Our free standard delivery usually takes up to three weeks. If you have a specific date that you would like your bed frame delivered, or you don’t live in Mainland UK, drop us an email at [email protected] to know more about our delivery charges.

With returns, customer satisfaction is always our number one goal. If you’ve seen something you’re not happy with, or you’d like to discuss any issues with your product, we’re always happy to help. Our products come with a one year guarantee, however our bed frames last much longer than this. If there are any issues with the quality, we will arrange for replacements, so please get in touch if you have any concerns. Crafted Beds will work with all customers to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. Our customers are entitled to a fourteen-day returns period, provided that the product is unopened in its original packaging. Due to the nature of our products and the bespoke customisation we offer, most of our bed frames are made to order. For this reason, any returns will incur either a collection cost from our couriers or the charge for the customer to deliver it to our base in Yorkshire. A restocking fee may also be added at the manager’s discretion.

Can I see a model of the product in person?

As we are dedicated to making luxury bedroom experiences for our customers, we do not have a physical showroom. The costs of running a showroom would mean that we would not be able to offer services like free delivery, which is a huge saving for our customers. We’re also able to offer luxury experiences at affordable prices due to our totally in-house run manufacturing process. However, our online photographs are taken from our customer reviews, so you can be sure that you get what you see with Crafted Beds! How long does delivery take?

Delivery varies from product to product and is also dependant on the extent of the customisation. The average delivery time is five to ten working days. If we experience any delays due to seasonal events such as national sales or holiday seasons, we’ll be sure to get in touch and let you know.

How much does delivery cost?

If you live in the mainland of the United Kingdom, standard delivery is free. However, if you live elsewhere in the UK, get in contact with us for more information on the costs of delivery.

I can’t take my bed up the stairs. How can I assemble my bed?

We’re aware that some of our customers might face struggles in assembling and carrying their bed to their room of choice unaccompanied, which is why we offer an assembly and disposal service. Assembly and disposal service comes at an additional fee, but includes our couriers placing your bed in your room of choice, building it and then taking away the extra packaging. This is not included in free standard delivery, which is a doorstep-only service.

I like too many of the fabric options. How can I pick one?

We know that sometimes customers might like more than one fabric and are struggling to decide which one they’d like their product in. Thankfully, we at Crafted Beds understand your struggle! This is why we offer our customers the opportunity to get five fabric swatches free. Just let us know which ones you would like to sample and we’ll send them to you via post.

I want a fabric you don’t stock. How can I get my preferred option?

We love to give our customers the ultimate freedom when picking a fabric, which is why we try to have so many options for you to choose from.
