Mashbill (1) 51%rye, 45% corn, 4% malted Barley, MGP production -aged minimum 7 years in new American white oak char #4
Mashbill (2) 95%rye, 5% malted Barley, MGP production -aged minimum 7 years in new American white oak char #4
Secondary Casks:
Aged above blend of rye whiskeys in rum casks from Trinidad & Tobago, St. Croix, Jamaica, Venezuela. Cask types are; ex-bourbon, ex-oloroso Sherry, ex-high ester Jamaican rum
Aged an additional 3 years in these rum casks.
Final finish cask:
Barrel No. 23-0147, Ex-Tawny Port 500L cask. Used in solera system in Portugal for minimum of 30 years. Wet when received, excess dumped.
The above rye whiskey aged in rum casks was transferred into the tawny port barrel above for approximately 4 months.
