The R Series ALS is a versatile manual/advisory defibrillator. When set to the manual configuration, the device operates as a conventional defibrillator in which charging and discharging are fully controlled by the operator. The unit may be configured to automatically analyze the ECG, charge the defibrillator, and prompt the operator to “press shock” between periods of CPR.
