Vidan, born Vittorio Dangelico, is an Italian born Figurative Artist who studied at some of the finest art schools in Italy. When he came to the United States in 1988 he spent the next 15 years illustrating book covers for some of the top U.S. Publishers. Afterwards, Vidan shared a studio with his uncle and protégé Pino Daeni, until Pino's death. His style of painting has been compared to that of the early Impressionists, like Monet and Gauguin. His often sensuous portraits depict a wide range of emotions that he brings to life with the use of vibrant colors. The works of Vidan are now collected throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.
