Marta Wiley is an American Expressionist Artist who creates works of art with lines that depict movement and grace. Her genius was cultivated by her Grandmother, Martha Gottfried, a famous landscape artist in Mexico City, and pushed by Irene Debohus, one of Gottfried's painting friends and Fridha Kahlo's lover. Marta Wiley paints in the style of the old masters, stressing harmonious curved lines expressing an underlying eroticism. Her works are controversial, sensual and very expressive.
