OrSlow is consistently one of our most popular brands, and for good reason - their combinations of great fits, custom fabrics, and handsome styles fit easily into almost any wardrobe. Founded in 2005 by designer Ichiro Nakatsu, OrSlow takes it’s name from Ichiro’s desire to make the opposite of fast fashion, or ‘slow clothing’, as he would put it.

The 107 is easily one of our favorite, and most popular fits, inspired by tapered denim cuts from the mid '60s. It's OrSlow's take on a classic tapered fit, not too slim or wide, it follows the natural shape of your legs in a way that's as comfortable as it is flattering. They're cut with a standard mid rise, athletic thighs, and a pronounced taper down to an agreeable leg opening.

Beloved by both denim aficionados and novices alike, the 107 is just as likely to be your first pair of selvedge denim as your 10th - a highly versatile pair of denim that's about as classic as you can get. The little details are all stellar as well, from the precise stitching, to the period-accurate construction details, to the custom patinated hardware.

OrSlow's signature fabric is a fantastic and completely proprietary Japanese selvedge denim. Woven with 100% cotton yarns and clocking in at about 13.5oz, it's a lower tension, slubby denim with a soft hand and subtly hairy texture. OrSlow have additionally given it a custom wash and aging treatment they developed in-house. The "Two Year Wash" was created based on worn samples from within designer Ichiro's personal collection, and features handsome and authentic fading throughout. The washing involved in this process also softens the fabric considerably, helping to remove all shrinkage and making it as comfortable as possible right away.

Not sufficiently pleased stopping at only the fabric, orSlow also completely uses custom hardware. In this case, oxidized copper rivets and period-authentic zipper for the fly. Little details, sure, but how much attention a brand pays to the little details is always telling, and orSlow pays a lot of attention.
