Every pair is built with a traditional goodyear welt, then given a heat-sealing treatment that bonds the sole and uppers further, before finishing with reinforcing welt stitches - resulting in a technically resoleable (though it is admittedly more challenging than other welted footwear as a result of the heat-sealing) and exceptionally durable pair of shoes.

The 1461 Oxford Shoe is a chunky casual shoe with three eyelets and a structured toe. It's been a part of the Dr. Martens lineup for the past 60 years, returning again and again in different iterations - this model keeps it simple, with a plain toe and strip back heel, letting the silhouette and leather speak for themselves.

The Savannah Tan leather is an embossed grain suede with an exceptionally thick and hairy nap. Immediately interesting, it promises to patina beautifully, as the suede wears down in high stress areas to reveal a more shiny flat leather below, and the grain texture becomes more subtle as the contrast between the longer and shorter areas of suede decreases.
