Crafted with durability in mind, the HOT FOOT™ throttle is made from all cast aluminum and stainless steel hardware, ensuring a lightweight and corrosion-resistant design. The throttle features non-sticking teflon and nylon bearing surfaces, nylon and teflon bushings on critical pivot points, and a stainless steel spring that returns the engine to idle position when released. Additional safety is provided with a toe clip for extreme operating conditions. The throttle uses standard control cables for easy installation and mounts directly to the boat's floor with four screws (not included). Other notable features include a patented Idle Stop for FICHT and Optimax Engines and an optional Slide Mount (HFM-1-DP) for comfort and accommodating multiple drivers.
