Aged in Slavonian oak barrels and smaller Allier and cherry wood casks, the wine offers layered aromatics of macerated dark fruit, dried herbs, and subtle incense. The vineyard’s west-facing slope—la costa sera—receives more evening sunlight, resulting in richer phenolic ripeness and a deeper, fuller wine.
