Sourced from the "Cardisanto" summit at an altitude of 885 meters—one of the highest points in Ribera del Duero—the 2022 "Korde Rosé" benefits from significant diurnal temperature variations, contributing to its balanced acidity and freshness. The vines thrive in white, chalky soils, imparting a distinctive minerality to the wine. The blend includes a small percentage of Albillo, a native white grape variety interspersed among the oldest Tempranillo vines. The winemaking process involves gentle bleeding of the must after a short maceration, followed by fermentation in concrete eggs and aging on fine lees for six months in new French oak barrels from the Tronçais and Bertrange forests.
