The 40V max XGT® Brushless Compact Router provides a cordless solution for many woodworking needs. The electronically controlled Makita-built brushless motor delivers up to 1.5 HP and efficiently uses energy to match torque and RPM to the changing demands of the application. It has a variable speed control dial (10,000 – 31,000 RPM) to match the speed of the application, and electronic speed control engineered to maintain constant speed under load.

Convenience features include the soft start feature for smoother start-ups and better accuracy, dual L.E.D lights to illuminate the workspace, and an on/off button with a separate lock button. The slim and ergonomically designed body with a rubberized grip is engineered for increased comfort. The Router has a quick-release cam lock system for convenient depth adjustments and easy base removal/installation when installing other bases. For increased versatility, it accepts the industry-standard template guides. It’s equipped with XPT™ for increased dust and water resistance in harsh job site conditions.
