Anthrax bass player Frank Bello wanted to be sure that his LTD Signature Series bass was accessible to any bass player, not just limited to those who could afford a high-end instrument, so we created the FBJ-400, an excellent-quality bass built to Frank’s spec that’s very much within the budget range of most musicians. The FBJ-400 has classic design elements like a bolt-on maple neck with Macassar ebony fingerboard and glow-in-the-dark side markers on a mahogany body at 34” scale, and includes the excellent EMG P-HZ/EMG LJ-HZ pickups with red covers from his other signature models for sonic versatility. This bass also offers high-quality LTD vintage tuners and an LTD DB-4 bridge. Available in a great-looking Satin Black finish with red body binding and red fret markers.
