With some of the most highly revered and sought-after guitars available today, Reverend used some of that musical magic to craft this never-before-seen Goldtop Charger HB. We are absolutely delighted to work with Reverend in crafting a new addition to the customized guitars exclusive to Russo Music.

This Reverend Charger HB features a Goldtop, Darkback finish that you cannot find anywhere else. Its gleaming finish is offset by a dark roasted neck to create a captivating contrast that makes this instrument as striking to the eye is it is to the ear. The Charger HB is a classic model from Reverend, a groundbreaker and a fan favorite.

Reverend's classic construction and definitive sound is on full display with this Charger HB. Featuring a medium-lightweight Korina wood body and roasted maple neck, the Charger HB is agile when strapped over the shoulder while remaining sturdy in hand. Two custom-designed humbucking pickups give the Charger HB all the kick any player could ask for with plenty of tonal nuance to tune in on using the Reverend Bass Contour Control knob. A feature that is strictly unique to Reverend guitars, the Bass Contour Control knob allows players to tighten low end, revoice the pickups to introduce single-coil sounds into the mix, or blend in between for a unique and nuanced tone altogether. Other tonal features include a treble bleed circuit to retain that precise punch of the humbucking pickups when rolled to a lower volume, ensuring the tone will never dull when turned down.

This Charger HB would not be complete without Reverend's fine hardware and close attention to detail. A Tune-O-Matic bridge, Stop Tail tailpiece, and synthetic bone "Boneite" but all contribute to a playing experience is certain to retain intonation stability and tonal accuracy. A custom jack plate, a triple-tree string tree, and Pin-Lock tuners also add to the high-quality Reverend experience down to the last detail. To top it all off, each headstock is hand-initialed by a highly skilled Reverend technician to ensure its quality after being set up, inspected, and tested.
