This new SE Custom 24 shares common features including a mahogany body, Multi-ply neck with PRS Wide Thin profile, 10" radius rosewood fingerboard, PRS Patented Tremolo, 25" scale length, signature PRS Birds inlays, and a pair of PRS 85/15 "S" humbuckers which offer extended low and high frequencies.

For electronics, the SE Custom 24 Quilt Package features a master volume and tone with a 5-way blade pickup selector. Positions 2 and 4 offer split single coil variants, with position 2 engaging the outside coils only of each pickup, and position 4 activating the inside coils only.
