This 3/4 inch pressure vacuum breaker backflow preventer is used to protect against health hazards and non-hazard back siphonage of toxic or non-toxic liquids in industrial plants, cooling tower laboratories, laundries, swimming pools, and irrigation systems. It has a bronze body, spring-loaded check valve, air relief valve with an opening port, two resilient seated shutoffs and test cocks, and NPT end connections. The maximum working pressure is 150 psi (10.3 bar) and the temperature range is 32 degrees F to 140 degrees F (0 degrees C to 60 degrees C). This assembly meets the specifications of the USC FCCC and HR Manual. The pressure vacuum breaker includes a freeze sensor for use with SentryPlus Alert(R) technology to signal when ambient temperature approaches the freeze threshold. Activated through an add-on connection kit, the sensor also triggers freeze alerts to facility personnel. Connection kit available for building/irrigation management system (BMS/IMS).
